The Burren Birds of Prey Center featured the most spectacular demonstration with raptors I've ever seen, including any on the teevee. The presenter put a canvas glove on perhaps 8-10 people, then put a bit of food on the glove. The raptor swooped in, grabbed the morsel, perched a bit, then flew off. This young lad is thrilled, as you can see, as this Harris' Hawk takes off.
